Class Descriptions

Off site Yoga

Prana teachers are eager to share this beautiful practice in a variety of settings.  In the past we have been invited to teach: in businesses during staff development seminars, in schools offering classes for a full week during Physical Education classes as funded PTA/Cultural Arts Budgets to support mindfulness/character education programs, at senior centers and for private family or friend gatherings.  We have also provided yoga and mindfulness workshops in these settings. This is an excellent way to invite folks to: practice, connect in a healthy way and introduce stress reduction techniques in a convenient place for those interested.  Please contact Cathy Donnelly at 631-680-0758 to inquire and or schedule.

Open Level Vinyasa Flow

This class consists of a series of yoga poses that synchronize with breath designed to lengthen and strengthen. This is a multilevel class.

Gentle Flow Yoga

Gentle yoga encourages folks to move slowly into the poses using breath as a tool to open and lengthen.  An emphasis on mild strength building, flexibility and meditation is employed.

Easeful Yoga Flow, Level 1

This is a slower paced class that focuses on the structure of postures, breathing and slowing down the mind chatter. It is good for folks new to yoga or simply looking to work on alignment.

Pre/Postal Natal

This class helps increase stamina, strength, balance, and circulation. Come if you would like to: relieve tension in the lower back, calm the nervous system and interact with the welcoming Prana Yoga Community!

Tween/Teen Vinyasa Flow

Invite your tween/ teen to begin their yogic journey at Prana. Breathing techniques and yoga poses will be presented in flowing and playful manner. This class is an EXCELLENT opportunity to give your child tools to cope with the stress of a technologically over stimulating world. A balance of movement and creation of space for stillness will be presented.

Sassy Seniors

Come gently stretch, breathe and relax your busy mind. We will guide you in appropriate ways to access the poses. Chairs, the wall, straps and other tools will be available. (Or the floor if that’s in your practice). Yoga is for everyone at each stage of growth. Join our yoga community.

Candlelight Yoga

Come join us to unwind on a Friday night with yoga by candlelight!
Followed by a pot luck dinner with the Prana Communtiy
Donation Class
